Salt and Light of the World

Bible readings: Matt 5:1, Matt 5:13-14, Matt 5:16.

God reveals his secrets to his disciples only. He does this as he wants his disciples to know the value of what has been deposited in them. As a child of God, you carry God’s covenant and if you are not conscious of what you carry, you can easily lose it be. When you cherish what you have, you would not want to share it with anyone.  God is light and he is our source. Therefore, as children of God, our light must shine brightly to show forth God’s glory in our lives.
